Romain Juan (born in 1984 lives and works between Brussels, Paris and Geneva)
In his early stages, Romain Juan was producing large scale structures made out of salvaged wood, some sort of fragile and baroque shapes. From now on, his sets of objects, made out of very different materials and techniques, play around with a tragicomic paradox borrowing forms and gestures from art field, but also from pop culture, testified by his researches on folk-music and stand-up comedy. He took part in different exhibitions in Europe, such as the Junge Kunst Aus der Romandie and ArtGeneve 2016 in Switzerland, and also the 59th Salon de Montrouge in 2013 in Paris.
